Quranific.com — Full-Stack Web Platform & Course Architecture
Architected and built a live production online Quran academy web platform to compete feature-for-feature with established LMS systems, featuring a redesigned 9-course catalog, tiered billing, and funnel-aware pricing.
Platform Overview
Quranific.com is a live, production online Quran academy platform owned, engineered, and marketed by Faisal Khan. The academy provides structured Quranic learning across multiple proficiency levels, combining high-speed edge delivery with transparent billing and modern UX.
The primary objective was to engineer an intuitive, high-converting learning platform that competes directly and feature-for-feature with established commercial LMS ecosystems like Tutor LMS Pro and LifterLMS, without the baggage and latency of legacy monolithic plugins.
Technical Architecture
The frontend architecture and deployment pipeline were chosen for instant page loads, zero client-side hydration bloat on static content, and global edge caching:
- Astro 6 & Svelte 5 (Runes): Leveraged Astro's server-first content rendering combined with fine-grained reactivity in Svelte 5 for interactive filtering and pricing widgets.
- Tailwind CSS v4: Streamlined atomic styling engine ensuring minimal CSS payload and responsive layouts across all device form factors.
- Cloudflare Pages & Workers: Global edge deployment providing near-zero Time to First Byte (TTFB) and secure serverless API handling for contact routing.
- Resend: Transactional email infrastructure delivering automated inquiry confirmations and student intake routing.
Course Catalog & Funnel Redesign
The centerpiece of the platform release was a complete re-architecture of the academic catalog and conversion funnel:
- 9 Live Courses: Structured academic offerings categorized by proficiency, from foundational phonetics to advanced Tajweed and memorization.
- Category-Based Dynamic Filtering: Interactive client-side filtering enabling prospective students to instantly isolate courses by target age group, track, and intensity.
- Funnel-Aware Tiered Pricing: Replaced an outdated single hero calculator with a comprehensive tiered comparison architecture, clearly delineating course deliverables, instructor ratios, and scheduling flexibility.
Operational Model & Student Policies
To lower friction for prospective families and build trust upfront, the commercial engine implements transparent enrollment terms:
- Flexible Invoicing Cadences: Manual invoice billing across three distinct cadences: monthly, 6-month, and 12-month billing periods, with strictly zero lock-in beyond the current paid interval.
